Job Description:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Market Research Analyst to join our team, playing a pivotal role in our groundbreaking project involving the development of a blockchain-based platform for halal certification & accreditation in the food industry. Falling under the Marketing Associate Professionals category (Occupation Code 3543), this role is integral to our business expansion strategy, and the successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving market research initiatives in close collaboration with our technology partners on blockchain development based in London, UK.

We, as “Prime Certification Services (UK) Limited” (Prime UK), are based in Cardiff, Wales UK since its establishment in November 2018 and offering the services in testing, inspection, certification, and regulatory compliance for the food business customers.
Whereas, Prime UK is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Tawasul Testing & Inspection Services Dubai, UAE (Tawasul) which is the Third-Party accredited Inspection body (IB), has adopted the International Standards; “Conformity Assessment – Requirements for the operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection (ISO/IEC17020:2012)” and accredited by Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC), Government of Dubai, United Arab Emirates where as Prime itself do not require any such accreditations or requirements as of yet.

Our organization which is a micro-business, and it is in a phase of significant business expansion, marked by the development of a cutting-edge blockchain-based platform for halal certification & accreditation in the food industry. ‘The Global Halal Certification & Accreditation Platform’, is a groundbreaking initiative fully funded by Technology Connected Wales, a Welsh Government organization and is poised to revolutionize the halal segment through its innovative and digitally traceable supply chain. As,’ the project is first of its kind in Wales dedicated to the digitalization of the Halal segment, ensuring a sustainable and transparent supply chain. This expansion requires a dedicated Market Research Analyst to drive strategic initiatives, ensuring that our project aligns with market needs and positions us competitively within the industry.

The Market Research Analyst will play a pivotal role in aligning our business goals with market requirements, particularly in the context of a technology-driven solution. Key Responsibilities:
- Market and Technology Alignment:
Conduct comprehensive market research to align our project goals with market needs, ensuring the seamless integration of blockchain technology in the halal certification process.
- Coordination with Technology Partners (Blockchain Development Team):
Act as the liaison between the Market Research team and our dedicated blockchain technology partners in London, facilitating regular updates, sharing market insights, and ensuring the alignment of project milestones.

Monitor the progress of the blockchain development project, ensuring that it aligns with market research findings and strategic business goals.
- Feedback Integration:
Collect and integrate feedback from the second party blockchain development team into market research initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment for continuous improvement.
- Market Expansion Strategy Implementation:
Implement the market expansion strategy in close coordination with the developers ensuring that project updates align with the evolving needs of the halal certification and food industry markets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, business developers, and project managers, to drive synergy between market research insights and blockchain development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in information technology or computer science or a related field.
- Experience as a Market Research Analyst, with expertise in coordinating projects.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research tools and methodologies.
- Good communication skills to convey complex halal market insights and experience in working with stakeholders.
- Understanding of the Halal and Islamic Sharia Principles to under customer/clients’ needs as well as to keep digital platform in Sharia compliance.
