Junior Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking application for a new role under occupation code 2135 for the role of Junior Cyber Security Analyst to support our various organizational activities including the Global Halal Certification & Accreditation Platform, a project under development. This position is for the new entrant to mid-career level. The job role requires familiarity with the following:

  1. A previous business experience in consulting business covering various sectors including food industry, this is also required to revolutionize the halal segment with a digitally traceable supply chain.
  2. Experience in cyber threats handling because being a Junior Cyber Security Analyst it is essential to safeguard our platform, protect sensitive data, and ensure compliance with industry standards, enhancing our competitive positioning in the halal certification and food industry.
  3. The Junior Cyber Security Analyst role demands a unique blend of foundational cyber security & IT skills. The analyst will monitor vulnerabilities, implement security protocols, and integrate security insights into our platform’s development, aligning with ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements.
  4. Their expertise in tools like SIEM systems and firewalls is crucial for fostering innovation and ensuring our platform meets the evolving needs of certification market/consultancy.
  5. The Junior Cyber Security Analyst will serve as a key liaison with our technology partner.
  6. The analyst will support vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure seamless integration of security solutions with market demands, aligning our services with client expectations and industry standards.
  7. The Junior Cyber Security Analyst’s role extends beyond technical support, directly informing strategic decisions on risk mitigation, UI design security, and compliance strategies. Their insights from monitoring security systems will enhance platform reliability and user trust, reinforcing the necessity of this role in an era of advancing cyber threats and technological innovation.
  8. The success of our blockchain-based platform hinges on robust cybersecurity measures. The Junior Cyber Security Analyst will provide actionable insights, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, ensuring our platform meets stringent security standards. This role is critical to maintaining stakeholder confidence and supporting our projected growth.
  9. The Junior Cyber Security Analyst will ensure our platform’s security, contributing to regional and national innovation in supply chain transparency.

 

Qualifications & Experience Brief:

Along with all stated above, the followings will be essential for the stated role as Junior Cybersecurity Analyst:

  1. Master’s degree in Cybersecurity (NCSC UK accredited) is mandatory requirement.
  2. 4 to 5 years of work experience.
  3. IT Skills in office equipment’s and networking.
  4. Able to design UI front end independently without any support.
  5. Website development and monitoring for any phishing threats
  6. Ability to professionally communicate with stakeholders.
